In Rainbows physical release
Good news for collectors of small plastic boxes everywhere - Radiohead's new album is set to get a physical release.
Radiohead have signed to XL Recordings who will be releasing this product in all territories bar North America. XL Recordings was the label for Thom Yorke's solo album Eraser. In the US, the rumour mill suggests that it will either be ATO or Side One.
No date has been announced yet, but previous press releases suggested January 2008. However, some internet fan fiefdoms have suggested that it may coincide with the shipping of the deluxe box set that fans could order directly via the In Rainbows site.
Meanwhile some fans have perhaps been staying in their room too long and have suggested that OK Computer and In Rainbows have some kind of cosmic link. Read here to be freaked out by how actually fanatical their fans really are. Less retarded fans have also been busy creating their own artwork for their pay-as-you-want downloads of the album. Thanks to Brooklyn Vegan for showing us these frankly hilarious artworks.
No further news on a tour in either Europe, the UK or the US, but expect that pretty soonish too.
